Quiz/Exam Time Already
So I’m finally starting to catch up in my work (I was behind because we were expected to read 6 chapters or so BEFORE school even started and since we didn’t have the syllabi yet, no one informed us *sigh* so I’ve been behind in some reading from the get-go). But I’m a hard worker, so by the end of this weekend I should be all caught up and be able to be on a regular schedule like I like to. And once I’m caught up in work (priorities sorry) I will then blog more!
I have A LOT I want to tell you guys, but I don’t have much time, so I’m just going to update on the important stuff. I am in Week 4 of school and things are going great. It’s stressful, but I still love it (haha I’m not burnt out yet!!). Clinical is good…nothing too new with that yet this week we’re shadowing a nurse for 3 hours and then taking our own patients for the rest of the day!!! So exciting! I will definitely update toward the end of the week to let you know how that goes.
Last week I had my first quiz in Lab I just got it back tonight and I received a 95%!!!! (only 1 wrong!) That’s a good way to start off school/semester/first test. Then this week is a REALLY busy week (hence why I haven’t been blogging much–because I’ve been preparing). Tonight I had my first pharmacology exam. I was SO nervous. I thought I prepared pretty well, but first exams are always stressful and I didn’t really know what to expect. I think it went very well though! Grades should be posted soon (within the next few days), so I’ll update about that too. And then tomorrow I have my Vital Signs Proficiency Test (BP, apical pulse, radial pulse, respirations, and temperature), and Wednesday I have a Health Assessment Quiz on Cardio, Respiratory, and Abdominal Systems. So I’m busy busy.
Well I have to go prepare for lab and vital signs tomorrow, so again–hopefully expect an update toward the end of the week!
