Spring Break!!
I am actually unfortunately over half way through spring break and am not looking forward to going back to school. Because the next eight weeks (6.5 weeks of classes, 0.5 week of study days, and 1 week of finals) are going to be HELL! Even starting with this first week I get back I have a physical chemistry exam. Digestive/Urinary practical the next week and a Peer Health Educator presentation, followed by my dreaded senior seminar presentation and an anatomy exam the third week, most likely a stats exam the following week, a reproductive system practical and peer health educator presentation week 5, another stats exam, finishing up classes with another physical chemistry exam. Then I have half a week to study and then I have 3 finals… So basically I have something every week! Not to mention all the little assignments I have going on, plus work, plus four observations days in Glens Falls, etc etc. GAH! Just had to vent. But the beauty of this is… after it’s done I AM DONE WITH COLLEGE FOREVER!
Changing topics slightly… I had my phone interview with Regis College on Tuesday. I think it went pretty well =) And for that I am SO EXCITED! It’s funny that this school got on my radar so last minute because I think this could be the one that I end up at (assuming I get accepted… I hope I hear soon!). I just really like their program, their location, etc. The waiting is killing me and it has only been 2 days… it could take up to a month!
But on the bright side of everything!! I am having a fabulous spring break. Even though Samm is gone during most of the day our schedule actually works out really well. He works during the day… and I work during the day! Doing homework that is (and yes of course I have homework over spring break). And I make sure I have all my homework done by the time he gets home and since he’s on co-op he doesn’t have homework, so then we just get to enjoy each other’s time when we get home. This is the first time it has worked out like this and I have to say I am really enjoying it. Maybe a little taste of the future…
~love always~
